The institute keeps to the strategy of innovative teaching. With that purpose at the institute have been developed the following specialized software products:

Control of forces and means at emergency elimination (Figure 1). This product is intended for modeling of actions of fire rescue units at suppression of fires in warehouses of oil and mineral oil products. |
| Preparation of experts of supervising bodies for fire-technical inspection (Figure 2). The product is based on virtual model of the industrial object containing 22 buildings and external installations. The primary goal of the trainee is revealing infringements of requirements of technical standard legal certificates. |
