Sports

At the institute there is a school for preparation of sportsmen on fire and rescue sport. For 10 years have been prepared:
- 1 “Honored Master of Sports” of the Republic of Belarus;
- 4 “Masters of Sports” of the Republic of Belarus of International class”;
- 17 “Masters of Sports” of the Republic of Belarus;
- 122 Candidates to Masters of Sports of the Republic of Belarus.

The employees of the institute were repeatedly  world champions of fire and rescue sport, record breakers, repeatedly winners and prize winners at international and republican competitions.

Combined team of the institute was 9 times winner at republican competitions on fire and rescue sport.

There are 11 various sport sections at the disposal of students. More than 350 students take part in:
- Fire and rescue sport;
- Volleyball;
- Mini Football;
- Weightlifting;
- Table tennis;
- Skiing;
- Athletics;
- Swimming;
- All-round events for Rescuers;
- Special all round;
- Hand-to hand combat;
- Sambo.

Sports base of the institute consist of a drill ground, 2 fire towers with sports stripes equipped with measuring devices, sports village, stadium, and training and sports halls.
