Specialties and Retraining

The institute carries out preparation of experts in the field of fire and industrial safety, and protection of the population and territories against emergencies.

Speciality «Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies» (faculty of Engineers, Distance learningFaculty):
- Direct studying on the basis of general secondary education, training term is 4 years;
- Distance learning on the basis of general secondary education, training term is 5 years;
- Distance learning on the basis of secondary special (fire-technical) education, training term is 2,8 years.

Speciality “Safety of people, Objects and Territories at Emergencies” (Command faculty):
- Direct study on the basis of higher education on the speciality “Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies”, training term is 2 years.

Specialty “Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies” (magistracy):
- Direct studying on the basis of higher technical  education, the term is 1 year.

Scientific specialties Fire and Industrial Safety” and “Safety at Emergencies” (post graduate course):
- On the base of higher education, by direct study, the term is 3 years; by extra mural studying the term is 4 years.

Specialties “Industrial Safety” and “Engineering of Safety at Construction Objects” (retraining):
- Distance learning on the base of higher technical education, 1,5 years.
